Life Change Blog30th May 2010. Welcome to The Monday Morning Life Change Blog. Over the past 20 years we have amassed a huge amount of experience and knowledge about Life Change. We publish a Life Change Blog article every Monday morning. I Want To Change My Life - Change Holiday SecretsI was walking through Chiang Mai yesterday, along by the river when I saw the most beautiful huge yellow butterfly. After some big tropical rain showers over the past couple of nights everything is green and fresh. This has suddenly kick started a wonderful chain of events, including huge amounts of fresh fruit in all the shops, incredible displays of Orchids and evidently the arrival of newly hatched butterflies. The one that I spotted really was big and beautifully coloured with yellow and red. It was so big that I couldn't quite work out how far away from me it was. My sense of scale and perspective was momentarily turned upside down. This sudden feeling reminded me of a comment that lots of people make during their Change Holiday about how they can view their life and problems with a greater sense of perspective and so change their lives with surprising swiftness. This changed sense of perspective is all important to our Change Holidays. The simple act of viewing our life from a different angle, gaining more objectivity and sense of clarity enables much better changes to be made. It reminds me of a scene in a film (the name of which I've just forgotten) where Robin Williams plays the part of an inspirational school teacher and encourages his class to stand on their desks "to view life differently". The problem with this has traditionally been that it is a fleeting transient experience; we find a new perspective, a fresh sense of direction and then...... life returns to normal. At some point we have to get off the desks or get on the plane and go home. Unless you are on a Change Holiday. Change Holidays can change your life for ever - if you want. Sometimes guests have specific problems to sort out or book a Relationship Counseling program, not wanting to change their whole life but to address problematic parts of it. Other times guests arrive and really need a different sense of perspective, to view everyday life with greater objectivity and clarity and to find different ways forward. Thailand, and Chiang Mai especially, offers a perfect setting for this. Working intensively with your own experienced practitioner accelerates this change process and enables important decisions to be made and new directions established. It's amazing the changes that people have made and continue to make on a regular basis; from city executive to globe trotting English teacher and accountancy to running a Safari Park to name but 2 that spring to mind. If you are one of the many people that find yourself saying "I would like to change my life" do check out our unique Change Holidays Bye for now. Talk next week. Alex.
